Well, It’s Groundhog Day, Again.

Maybe the movie, Groundhog Day, is more relevant these days as most of us learn, work, and live at home. There were two milestones that told me that Groundhog Day was happening: YouTube recommended a CinemaSins for Everything Wrong With Groundhog Day in 19 Minutes or Less and I got my first Groundhog Day greeting card.

Everything Wrong With Groundhog Day in 19 Minutes or Less

I am just going to say it. Groundhog Day is one of my favorite movies. The movie stars Bill Murray, Andie MacDowell, and Punxsutawney Phil. The setting is in Punxsutawney, PA where Bill Murray’s character relives Groundhog Day over and over until he becomes a better person. This ultimately attracts Andie MacDowell’s character. I am not sure why I love it so much, but I do watch Groundhog Day once a year.

Groundhog Day Greeting Card

I also had a first. I got my first Groundhog Day greeting card from a friend delivered the same day. I love the hand-drawn illustration of a brave groundhog prepared with a helmet popping out to check their shadow. I got a lot of holiday cards this past season but this is my first ever for Groundhog Day.

Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn’t one today.
