<p>I took a bunch of photos of fireworks on my last trip. <strong><em>Why do you do that?</em></strong> I mean, why did I do that?</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="750" height="620" data-attachment-id="2977" data-permalink="https://nothans.com/why-do-you-take-photos-of-fireworks/fireworks" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?fit=1200%2C992&amp;ssl=1" data-orig-size="1200,992" data-comments-opened="0" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;orientation&quot;:&quot;0&quot;}" data-image-title="fireworks at mt washington" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?fit=300%2C248&amp;ssl=1" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?fit=750%2C620&amp;ssl=1" src="https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?resize=750%2C620&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-2977" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?resize=1024%2C847&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?resize=300%2C248&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?resize=768%2C635&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?resize=750%2C620&amp;ssl=1 750w, https://i0.wp.com/nothans.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/fireworks.jpg?w=1200&amp;ssl=1 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px" /><figcaption>Fireworks at Mt. Washington, New Hampshire</figcaption></figure>

<p>Do you ever look at these photos again? Do you share them on social media? Do you write a blog post about them?</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a funny thing we do. I mean, I do. I take a lot more photos these days. I take screenshots too. I also don&#8217;t remember things as well as I used to. I have been taking pictures to help me remember. I have gotten into a routine where I look over the day&#8217;s photos at night and in the morning. The images usually jog my memory about doing something. That&#8217;s what happened today. I looked over my photos to help me remember the blog post I wanted to write this week. I saw my pictures of fireworks and I started writing my post.</p>

<p>How do you use your pictures?</p>

<p></p>
